Garuda Aeronautical Navigation Chart
 

Introduction

Cooperation of making navigation charts needs of flight operations Visual Flight Rules (VFR) Garuda Indonesia with INDOAVIS NUSANTARA as a manufacturer and provider needs flight maps, Garuda Indonesia The National Flag Carrier/Airline of Indonesia has been operating rejuvenated fleet with various destination to South East Asia, East Asia ,Middle East, Europe, Australia and Regions in Indonesia. Within its destination, Garuda Indonesia has commitment to comply with applicable laws, regulations and Industry best practice.
 

In regard to support the Garuda Flight to the airport that does not have Instrument Flight Procedure, it should be supported by Visual Chart, it is to ensure that Garuda Flights to those Airport can be accomplish smoothly, safely, efficiently and prioritized the safety aspect.
 

For this Garuda requires Vendors who has experiences as a Navigation Chart Provider and qualified in accordance with ICAO, CASR and all regulations applicable in Indonesia.
After several months Bid Process, Garuda through the Letter of GARUDA/JKTB/20142/14, has appointed PT Indoavis Nusantara as the official Provider/Vendor for the Visual Navigation Charts."

Aeronautical information is made available via the Integrated Aeronautical Information Package (IAIP) that includes the Indonesia Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP), Circulars (AIC), AIP Supplements and NOTAM, all compiled from numerous and often unique sources of data.   • AIP Supp (Supplement) Temporary changes to the information in the AIP are published through a special sheet sheet

  • NOTAM (Notice to Airman) A notice distributed by Telecom which contains information about the existence, condition or change in certain Aeronotic facilities, services, procedure or danger, you need to know early on by personnel associated with flight safety.

  • AIC (Aeronautical Information Circular) One notices that do not need to be included in the NOTAM or log in AIP, but nothing to do with Flight Safety, Air Navigation, issue technical problems, administrative and regulatory issues AIP Indonesia.

  • SRTM 30M (The Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) is an international research effort that obtained digital elevation models on a near-global scale from 56° S to 60° N,[2] to generate the most complete high-resolution digital topographic database of Earth prior to the release of the ASTER GDEM in 2009. SRTM consisted of a specially modified radar system that flew on board the Space Shuttle Endeavour during the 11-day STS-99 mission in February 2000, based on the older Spaceborne Imaging Radar-C/X-band Synthetic Aperture Radar (SIR-C/X-SAR), previously used on the Shuttle in 1994.
